Kooralbyn is set to make a bigger impact
on the Australian Polo scene this season with the Kooralbyn Polo
Club having new sponsors, new image, new facilities and lots new
enthusiasm!
The club was established in 1980 and quickly
became recognised as one of the leading polo facilities in Australia,
winning the Australian National Open in that year and then the next
two years in succession. The grounds were developed under the guidance
of Jim McGinley, former Captain of the Australian Polo team.
Kooralbyn is regarded as the Winter capital
of Australian Polo. The club has one of the largest paying memberships
in the country and a growing social membership from Brisbane and
the Gold Coast.
